Mom and Boys

Figuring it out one day at a time.

After bath cuddle.

Getting both the boys out of the bath and dressed before someone pees on the floor is a challenge.

But I have it down to a science.

Drain the tub.

Bowen out first.

Diapered.

Lay him on Linc’s bed.

Linc next.

Diaper.

Then dressed.

Today I was unprepared and did not have PJ’s set out, so I had to run to the other room and grab them.

When I came back I found Linc, lying on his bed, snuggled up to his brother.

I couldn’t even handle the cuteness.

I am so happy my camera was close.

Thank you Uncle Mike.

If you don’t know already know, my former sniper marine brother, Mike, watches my son during the day and has lived with us since Christmas.    Linc adores Mike more than anyone in the world but there have been several very amusing moments watching these two figure each other out.  This is a conversation I overheard this morning.

“Lincoln, did you know that water is a magnifier…”

My thoughts: How cool Mike is giving Linc a science lesson, what a great Uncle.  But then it continued…

“So, if you want to impress a girl with the size of your wiener, do it in water because then it will look even bigger.”

Thank you Uncle Mike.

Just Catching Up

I have had an exciting last few days.  I had my six month baby shots, I went to a house inspection (everything looked pretty great), I watched KU beat THE Obnoxious Ohio State, I sat around and watched mom dad and uncle Mike wash cars, AND I tried solid foods for the first time.  With all this going on you would think I would be tired but NOPE, sleep is for the birds.  I like to keep everyone up at my house aaaallll niigghhtt loooong.
